Switching to have a look at this match for a while, looking a bit worrying for Djokovic being a set down and having an injury time out!
Ah, that's a shame *crosses fingers*

Not that I have anything against the Djok normally, but now that Murray's out (a) I don't want Djokovic to win, as that would make him #1, and (b) i want Federer to win, because he's just that awesome.
Also, apparently Berdych's H2H with Djokovic stands at 2-25, so it's about time Berdych started a 23-match win streak against him.
Question Author
I like them both. It would be great to see Federer win again though and get his 8th and a record I believe. Something really doesn't seem right with Djokovic though. Broken serve already.
Question Author
Awwww no, I am so sad to see him retire! Something definitely wrong. What a shame.
Well, obviously seeing him retire isn't what I'd hoped for.

Djokovic and Murray have both had -- by their high standards -- rotten seasons. Murray in particular, I think he could do with a long break, come back fresher later in the year or even 2018.

So Berdych will play the winner of the Federer/Raonic game.

I must admit, I've never been able to get myself very excited over Berdych playing.

I have to admit I don't keep up with much of the other tournaments, Wimbledon is the only one I am able to watch a lot of, and my favourite. Looks like neither are right, definitely some rest and recuperation needed.
When I was younger I still watched tennis, back in the days when Henman was playing (not good for my young heart, I can tell you!). But anyway, the point is that I think I *only* saw Queen's and Wimbledon, and was maybe vaguely aware that the French and US Open were a thing. But I think there was a time briefly when I thought that the players must spend the entire year practising for Wimbledon!

Nowadays I'm more au fait with the tennis world, thankfully. Murray's season last year was superb, from about Madrid onwards. Final, Won, Final, Won, Final, Won the Olympics, Quarters at the US Open, then something like four or five tournaments in a row. Wonderful.

I know what you mean :) Wimbledon was a sacred two weeks for Mum throughout me growing up, still is for her. I can't remember other tournaments back then. I fell out of it after leaving home through studying (often no TV) and working mad hours. I the got back in to watching the Wimbledon finals and, more recently, with working very different hours, as much of the tournament as I can watch. I don't catch much of other ones. I'm not keen on watching matches on clay either.

Oops, hit send too soon! That was an amazing season.

I wish there wasn't so much pressure on the Brits to win big when they progress. I hope it doesn't happen to Johanna Konta, she has done brilliantly, win or lose tomorrow.
