Its big and its heavy ... its 5ft long by 19.5 inches wide and 13 inches deep and weighs in at about 5 CWT or 250 KG. It wont blow away!!

The materials cost me about £30 and about 2 hours to cast and to de-mould.

I cannot deliver as its too heavy to get in the car, so will need to be collected.

It will most likely last forever. Any idea on what I could sell it for?

Well it could look pretty worn and naff tbh, in fact almost the worse and more rustic the better, it's supposed to have been buried for about 1500 years :)

kvalidir, with a bit of artificial ageing I could well see it fitting the bill, I only have the one mould though, and that is only 5ft long and quite narrow, and the moulds are very expensive to have made, so not so sure.

Do you think i'd be able to Dremel carvings onto it, we need a viking coffin for next year for a film, thought it might be nice to keep afterwards if so :)

I like the look of it Ratter, my only suggestion would be to experiment with colour in the concrete.

Lot's of farmers wives out here would buy them and have them full of plants in no time. Shame about transport costs to downunder.

Are they reinforced with meta rods ?.

I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to drill some drainage holes with a large masonry bit, alternatively the holes could be incorporated during the casting process.

No reinforcing required.

I make them without drainage in case someone want to use them as a water feature or water trough, however I can soon run a few holes through if required.
