What is wrong with this woman, she must be the most uncompassionate person ever!!
Corben, The Queen, Prince William, the London Mayor and others have all shown compassion by meeting 'real' people whereas this woman didn't go near them, instead her visit to the emergency services was staged managed, the same as her election campaign.
The sooner she is gone the better!

She should have gone to see the plight on the first day. No way could she visit the residents now, she'd be eaten alive.
alas, divebuddy, alas....speculation totally but if true....well, they the terrorists don't give a damn about their own, religion-wise....I seriously hope not, as the implications for our security are mind-boggling.
By the way, I can understand why TM wanted private time with the rescue services to understand what had gone on, the potential scale of it and freeing up resources for them.

However, it was poor PR not to go and meet a selection of those affected - have to say that she came down here and the bus stopped in Wadebridge and she stayed aboard the blue barge........wrong....she should know better though and where are her really good advisers. Bring back Fairy Bell as to Thatch.
Don't be silly, Tilly!

^ I think you will find it was the inquest that got the 'unlawfully killed' verdict over Hillsborough while the enquiry was stitched up by the police telling lies!
why is it a criminal enquiry already?

Surely, the authorities need the time to determine the cause and if that is criminal - and then, following on, a second case being the building regs and if they have been failed on and by whom, and then, thirdly so if the regulations' interpretation was kosher, are the regulations negligent or just out of kilter but action needed going forward?

Why don't we let due process take its course and see what happens? Time to do battle IF the people are not happy when they hear the results.

Just be wary of the willingly, very public, compassionate. I have found over the years that they are usually hiding something behind it. Be even more wary of the people who appear to endorse false compassion, they are liable to be very verbose and loud virtue signalers with their own covert agenda. The poor people are not even recovered from their truly awful death beds and some would make personal advance from the tragedy. Makes me sick to my heart.
Some of the remarks on here are disgusting, and why is it necessary to post media comments - oh, I realise. its because they allow you to clutch onto an item which may add credence to your point of view - pathetic.
Would you rather have a hand wringing PM who oozes fake compassion (such as Tony Blair)? The PM's job is to run the country. If we need compassion, we have the Queen. Would you feel better if you were hospitalised and Theresa May came to visit you? I wouldn't.
But appalling to see the mob storm the town hall - led by the SWP and Momentum yobs carrying 'Tories Out!' posters. They'll exploit anything to further their odious 'creed'.
scooping - a riotous uncontrollable mob.
Jackdaw, why am I being silly? She would have a very rough reception.
I am not convinced that lawyer is correct. I understood that because an inquiry will hear similar evidence to an inquest, the inquest normally becomes secondary to the inquiry. Thus the inquest is opened, the dead identified and then proceedings adjourned pending the outcome of the inquiry. However, an inquest can still reconvene after the inquiry findings. Both have different roles.

I am also not convinced that TM could order the Coroner for London NOT to open an inquest. He holds a judicial office and is entitled to exercise his judicial discretion.

I could of course be wrong...........
Can not understand why the CONS on here keep attacking MR CORBYN, when it was they who voted for him to be leader of his party , paying just 3£ each to join the Labour party, because they thought it would be the end of labour , he could well be the next PM , the way MRS MAY is performing. What a load of numptys.
Gulliver, you don’t seem to recognise that the people who did that clearly gave more credence to the intelligence of the Labour voter was warranted. I have to agree with you. A big mistake.
^//Labour voter *than* was warranted//
