I'm hoping someone can help here. I recently had to change my email password for my bt internet email account. I did it easily enough on my pc, but I have a fairly new Samsung Galaxy Tab A, and I can't figure out how to change it on there. So at the moment, I can only access my emails from the computer.

If I open up email, there is a tab for settings, but the only place I can find anything relating to the password is on the incoming and outgoing server pages. But if I try putting in the new password and then press 'done', I get an alert message saying 'Unable to connect to email server to verify your account information. No response from server.'

Can anyone advise, please?

Hi Kiki,

Does your Galaxy run on Android? And if so, do you have the choice between Samsung's own mail app and GoogleMail?

I always find Google's own mail app easier to setup.

Either way, the easiest fix is to delete all accounts from the app and then reinstall them. It's a silly system on Android, I've had the same problem on my phone.

Hope this helps,
