She got up as normal at 7.30am went to the toilet and started feeling funny. My youngest called me and When i went in she started fitting. I laid her on floor in recovery position and less than a minute later she stopped fitting and came roundd. Her eyes had rolled back. I was terrified. She suffers from migraines so severe that she has to be violently sick to feel better. I called an ambulance and paramedics came and took her in. Once she sat up, the same thing happened again. After a full day in hospital, we were sent home. They told us it was low blood pressure. She had Another episode last night, i just laid her down before she fitted and sat up with her all night and she is feeling better today. She says she gets tummy ache and a funny feeling before it happens . I don't knw what to do. I feel at a loss as it cant just be low blood pressure it seems too serious. Any advice would be great especially sqads profession opinion. many thanks and sorry for long winded post.

Has she started her periods?
Was the fitting on one side of the body..e.g right leg and right arm or was it generalised?
What investigations did she have in hospital e.g blood tests?
What medication was prescribed?

She has started her periods. The fitting was on the right, she was sat on toilet and leaned towards the right against the wall. She had bloods. No medication was prescribed.

Her hand went into a spasm and went backwards and stiff. It was scary.
Thanks phleb.
This is difficult and i am not sure that I can reassure you,or anybody else can at this moment.
The diagnosis rests between epilepsy and non-epileptic seizures as highlighted by Buenchico's link. However, the correct diagnosis may take some time to confirm and may need the help of a Neurologist.
As for the low BP and low blood sugars causing this in your daughters case, I am not convinced, although you will find connections on the internet.
I am afraid that you will have to be patient phleb and monitor the situation over the next few months and if the seizures recur, then further neurological investigations may be needed.
My money......for what it is worth, based on what you have told me,goes on these being non-epileptic seizures.

She had a scan of the head last year. All images were clear.
Phleb...thanks for your reply. I wasn't thinking of a brain MRI I was thinking of an Electroencephalogram (EEG), but at least the MRI has ruled out the unlikely event of a tumour.
Be patient.
