Will tax office reveal your identity if you report someone for tax fraud? They ask for the name and address of the person reporting. How is the best way to report, by person or form? Thanks.

HM Revenue and Customs will not reveal your identity.

You can leave those boxes blank when reporting.

The form is the easiest way to report fraud and you can be certain the information will have been received by the right team. It might be worth leaving a telephone number in case they need you to clarify some details.

You will not be updated on what happens after you make your report.
