Happy today?

what (if anything) has made you happy today? I've just had a fabby phone conversation with a good friend and it has made me sooooo smiley and happy. We didn't even talk about anything hugely important or hilarious, but just hearing their voice and having a bit of a chat was enough to lift my spirits. Infact, I'm so happy, that I might not even mind if Engurland win this afternoon ;o)

I had a good and inspiring talk with my sister this morning; we have both been doing our diets for a week (!!?) and this is the point- if you can past that first week- that your brain and your palatte get back into it, and you begin to see a way out of your rut, and think of things in the future that you are not up to doing at the moment.

Nice to feel so inspired so early on a sunday!

hi ww1, I'm good thanks babes. just been out for a big walk with my wee boy (well, he insisted on taking his trike, but I walked) to get the Sunday papers and it is indeed lovely and sunny here in East Lothian too, if a bit breezy!

Robbo....good luck babes, you may just need it. Rooney up front on his own? Ouch, that could be fun.

I was happy this morning when I discovered that after three weeks of living off lettuce butties my belly no longer hangs over my jeans !

What made me especially happy today:

... getting a phone call from the vet to tell me that one of my dogs does not have cancer (results back after an op)... i am soooooooooooooooooo delighted!!!

I'm so excited and giddy as I finally plucked up the courage to have a teeny weeny tattoo done this morning, only been bottling out of it for ten years as well!
I'm so proud of me :-)

I got to watch the england match with some of my favourite people, and then I got to talk with the guy I love from work. And he said I can always go and talk to him. How sweet?
And then we got a phone at work saying, "Hi, I was just about to phone to say I left my cardigan in the restaurant, but I just found it, thank you, bye!" That's the kinda daft thing that puts a smile on your face.
