I can't quite believe it.

My pals and I used to stand at Withdean Athletics Track, in the rain, clutching soggy hot dogs, and shouting for the Seagulls. That was when we were in League One. And we almost got relegated to League Two.

And now ...

We are in The Prem !!

We stood on the pitch at The Amex, sobbing pathetically, and singing (equally pathetically). And then ... we got completely trolleyed.

I'm feeling very fragile this morning.

But, to everyone who supports a team in The Prem ... look out next season ... WE ARE COMING FOR YOU !!

:-)

Congratulations to Brighton. Newcastle had better start pulling the finger out or they could fall at the last hurdle. Only seven points ahead of Reading now.

Newcastle should be good for second place. But they are making hard work of it.

What does "up the Brit" mean??
The Britannia Stadium, or the Bet 365 as it is called now.
Question Author
(Googles) Oh yes, Stoke City's ground.

We got knocked out of the FA Cup there in (Googles) 2011.
The pundits always moan about how cold and windy it is at Stoke.

The same pundits love your Amex place.

It certainly wasn't cold at The Amex yesterday. The sun was blazing down on the East Stand (where we were sitting). It was definitely "glad I brought the sunnies" weather.

Actually, the South Stand was also in the sun. You'd think that the South Stand would face North, and get no sun, but the orientation of the stadium means that the sun goes down in the corner between the West and North Stands, so ...

OMG, what am I doing? Obviously no one cares where the sun goes down. But it's worth knowing, if you ever visit The Amex, that the visitors' area is the eastern section of the South Stand ... so bring your sunnies and a hat with a brim, because you might be sunbathing!
Oh dear JJ.

Norwich had no shots on goal, but beat you 2 nil.

Are you worried now?
