My mobile (HTC) is nearly 3 years old. It seems to lose its charge rather quickly. Is this normal for a slightly older phone, and is there anything I can do to make it behave better!

Battery or phone?
the battery inside the phone.
What model HTC is it Goofy?
mine was the same, it was the battery, so suggest getting a new one.
My first few Mobiles had batteries that you clipped on the back and it was easy to renew one....now you have take the ruddy thing apart....not really much progress is there !
only Iphones mikey, the back just clips off most others and the battery comes out easy.
TTT....ah !.....I have been an iphone owner for so long now, that they all had internal batteries !

My first Mobile was an Ericssons, that used to last about 10 hours on a charge !

It's an htc m8 (I think).
Going in to town tomorrow and there's a phone accessory shop so shall pay them a visit.
Thanks all for the help
the htc m8 is not easy to take apart to change the battery, open heart surgery for a phone, there like sealed units practically
