In Henning Mankell's "Wallander" series of crime novels, in "Firewall" - which seemingly is eighth in the series - Wallander has serious ructions with one of his colleagues (Martinsson): treachery; disloyalty and even fights, so I'd like to know which novel in the series follows on and how Wallander and Martinsson get on with each other, that's if they do. But, the ninth book in the series doesn't seem to follow on and unless "Before the Frost" wherein Wallander's daughter first appears, I don't know which book follows on. Can anyone help?...that's if they can understand what I've written. Ta Muchly.

Here's Henning Mankell's website, with the relevant page open. The Wallander books are listed in reverse order (i.e. with the most recent at the top) in the left-hand panel:

So 'Firewall' is followed by 'The Pyramid'
The website I looked at said the English translations are not being published in order. From the Swedish dates. Before The Frost is the eleventh. The list also shows The Return Of The Dancing Master coming after Firewall.

Many Thanks Chris, but I know about The Pyramid and though I haven't listened to it yet, the blurb doesn't seem to make it a follow on from Firewall and NACW the Dancing Master is totally out of sync and isn't a Wallander either - but Thank You Both - and I hope this gets into the right answer mode, as I'm still trial and error at the moment.
