oldmisery - could you answer a question for me (us) please.

You have asked and answered/replied to quite a few questions on ABs 'old layout' and have generally told us how many letters are in the answer and which letters you already have.
Is there a problem with the 'new layout' which prevents people giving the full details of a clue? It's happening so often that it must be a glitch somewhere?
