His sacking - agree or disagree? Here in Leicestershire we are gutted!

I don't know enough to comment but it does seem odd from what I've read.

I looked in Sport Mamya but missed this post! I posted in CB as not many posts are seen in Sport this time of night. We think it's so wrong to do this to him especially as the club gave full support only a few days ago. It's the players at fault, they have become complacent now they have free cars, huge rises and renewed contracts. They have let their manager down badly and that's the view of most in this city. He is such a kind humble man - a true gentleman who has been too soft with them when they really needed a boot up their backsides!
I think the scenario you've outlined happens far too often, not at all sportsmanlike is it?
I am surprised that the fans have not shown their feelings, by refusing to attend matches until their manager has been reinstated?
football's a fickle world ... i remember the fans being aghast at his appointment (me included) now they're aghast at his sacking
Ann - your post @ 01:09 sums it up perfectly for me - the players have been at fault entirely. Ranieri - IMO - was forced to make constant changes because of the under-performance being shown, but none of the squad seem to have taken their lack of positive results seriously enough. He's been very poorly treated by the owners.

I wonder how long it'll be before the "top" players at Leicester decide a move might be in order & start writing transfer requests? That'll show whether their loyalties lie with the club or the £££'s they earn.

I can understand their feelings, I was aghast when Winston Churchill got kicked out as our Prime Minister after WW2.
