The Haunted Mansion

Hi, I've just seen the new disney film, 'The Haunted Mansion,' and I loved the story, I was wondering, because I like to read, if there are any books with similar stories. I love the romantic thing about the film, and the haunted bit is just my kind of thing, please help me out by naming some books that are like it.

Have you read "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Seebold - a stunning book, not a romance but if you like stuff about the after-life you would probably like it. I guess Wuthering Heights is too obvious!! PS I liked the Haunted Mansion too, despite bad reviews - it was pretty scary in parts!
