I have a Sky + HD box and a connector box for 'on demand'. I now want to connect a DVD player. Can I just connect the DVD player to the sky box with a scart? Thanks.

Yes,but rather than a DVD player think about a DVD Recorder then you can transfer stuff from Sky+ box to DVD Disc
