The one to feel sorry for as a result of this ridiculous woman's actions is her child.

I would suggest the liklihood of her child being invited to play at other people's houses or to parties in the future is somewhere between slim and none.

The Mother clearly stated, when been verbally abused by Piers Morgan, that she sent spare clothes and shoes with the child to the party, and did not expect her to play dirty or rough in the clothes the child came in. When my kids were small I frequently had to offer coats and wellies to children who arrived for playdays in ballet type shoes or trainers and t shirts. Yes, this Mother was totally over the top invoicing the other mother but this is no excuse for the on line abuse and humiliation she has had to endure.

I can't agree - stupid ill-thought-out actions, even if rooted in arrogance, are not a licence for a free-for-all vitriolic attack from compete strangers on social media.
