Why did my question about mixing dog breeds get banned?

I stated that if you were to make a new  dog breed which two existing ones would you mate?

I said rottweiler/boxer a real fierce looking dog or labarador/bullterrier a energetic and friendly dog

It was probably deemed "too conversational" as most non-offensive banned answers are!

It was rightfully banned because it is conversational and hypothetical.

Read the blurb on the home page: "The AnswerBank is a Community Question and Answer site. These days I hear so much talk about the Labradoodle, Maltipoo, Chorkie and other designer cross breeds and was wondering how is this affecting dog ownership? Presumably for every designer cross breed owned there must be one less pedigree or mongrel bred / owned, unless of course dog ownership is increasing to compensate. So does anybody have access to statistics, presentations, infographics, videos, charts on trends in designer cross breed ownership? This is really for my own interest but as the proud owner of a Cockapoo I thought I would ask the question, as I am fascinated to what answers I might receive. I see from other Q&A’s this can be a controversial topic, I’m not looking for replies on pros & cons of designer cross breeds, just information about statistical trends in ownership.
