I'm watching her deliver her speech about how much she cares about and intends to help,in so many ways, all of the people who are 'just getting by' and it's choking her to speak those words, because she knows that they are lies!
'She hasn't got a clue',as Allan Sugar would say, unfortunately he can't follow it up with 'you're fired'.
If this is what the rest of the year is going to be like then I'm going into hibernation!

I like to think that at least some of our politicians are actually motivated by a desire to do what is best for the people they represent, rather than being cash-obsessed egotistical morons, which sadly a far-too-large proportion continue to prove that they are - and right now, I am willing to put Mrs May into the former category. Which is a good thing, since her predecessor and most of his associates were firmly in the latter category.

Time will tell if my faith is well-placed or not.
When she first came to office I was very impressed by a couple of impassioned speeches she made and I wished her every success.

A perceived lack of action since has left me feeling indifferent about her, unfortunately.
She talks the talk but I have yet to see her walk the walk.
Crikey ... er erm

What andy-hughes said.

Depends whether it's the ones who are 'just getting by' on benefits or 'just getting by' working 40 hours a week in a warehouse.
The ones just getting by working in a warehouse will be pursued on every avenue will full vigour by HMRC if they dare peddle anything on Ebay or let their room out.
She appears to have the look of a rabbit caught in the headlights.

To be fair on her, she is having all her woes in my big go, but my gut reaction is that she has been promoted above her pay range.

Nobody forced her to stand for leadership, and after the win for BREXIT, she must have known that she was in for a rough ride.
I only saw a bit of her speech, and thought she came across as a phoney. All that talk about people should be helping their communities and not being selfish - same as Cameron's Big Society or whatever he called it. I think she'd find that people do help each other a lot, and we're not all grabbing as much as we can.

Also, she said a lot about mental health and the supposed stigma attached. I think that is becoming less and less all the time. As far as I can see, lots of people - famous and not - are talking about their mental health problems.
I wanted to give her a chance, but cannot stand her now, false imo.
At least we havent got Donald Trump for Prime Minister !
More's the pity.
