All of a sudden I have no sound om my laptop. I have looked in device manager under sound, video and game controllers and my c-media ac97 audio device hase a yellow exclamation mark over it. When i double click on the device it says the device cannot start code 10. I have followed the troubleshooter but to no avail. HELP!!

Using Win XP?
If you are, right click on the exclamation mark line and UNINSTALL the device.

Reboot the PC, Win Xp should reload a new driver which may cure the problem.
