Sky Q

Does anyone have Sky Q? What do you think of it, what are the pros and cons? I have looked online but I'd like to hear 'real' stories. Many thanks.

Pros are that you can record 4 programs at the same time. The interface is different to the old sky + box but it works fine once you get used to it. Cons are that you never own the box just rent it the same as you do with Virgin. The old box was yours to keep even if you left sky so could be used as a freeview box. The sky and virgin boxes cannot be used to watch netflix as they only want you to sign up to their own movie cannels. Some are different such as Bt which you can get netflix and the like on.

Netflix is available on Virgin with the Tivo box.

If you have catch up, look for the last the Watchdog, think near Xmas time.

Didn't think it was available on virgin didn't notice it on my parents one. We can only get sky where I live in the south west and know it's not on that platform. Sorry about that, my bad as my son would say.
