We've recently had our new JRT rescue bitch speyed (12 days ago) she's had the stitches out and has been given a clean bill of health at the vets. Yesterday she started dragging her bed around the kitchen and then humping the soft raised edges of it. The only female dog I've had before had been done when we got her and none of my cats have every displayed any odd behaviour post op any ideas?

When we had a a dog years ago a similar thing happened. Apparently its due to the final surge of hormones after the op making her want to a. nest and b. fornicate!
