I have 4 payment cards registered with Amazon, when I make a purchase how do I know which card they will use?

When you make a payment you will see your registered cards and you just click on the one you want to pay with.

usually its the top one on the list in amazon. You can also choose to make one the default and then they will use it until you change the default. If you do the long checkout through your cart instead of one click ordering, then you can choose which card is used for each order.

Thanks for the answers, the problem is it's not the top one on the list that I want to use but I can't see how you make a certain card default it does not seem to give me that option.

Go in to Your Account, Manage Your Payment Methods

Even if you don't make it your default just click the round dot beside the card you want to use when you're on the page that displays them.

as Prudie says, they usually (for me anyway) list all the cards I have registered with them and I click on the one I want to use.

You can manage your cards - just go into otions and turn off 1 click ordering then it lets you choose the card.
