Carry on with their running mates at this late stage
depends on the individual party rules, I should think; the Democrats may have different regulations from the Republicans.

^^^^^is that supposed to be funny?
I expect so, pasta. Try saying you'd like to see May and Farage killed and see how many people laugh.

That was a thought that has crossed my mind mm. Do they have a deputy? Do the Americans vote for the party like we do?
I have often wondered why we hear so little about the running mates of these candidates as they would be President if anything to the winner.
I know you didn't say you wanted them killed. But to say there would be a party if they were says that others wouldn't mind.
And please stop with the "grow up" comment. I'm old enough to know that my opinion counts...even if others don't want it.

The electors vote for who they want and hope their representative votes in the crucial senate vote as the electorate decreed. There is no guarantee that he or she will.
I hope Hillary wins. I like her.
My understanding is that Obama will continue as President, until a new election is planned.

I hope that the American people vote on the policies of their elected President, rather than their total admiration for the individual.
It was mildly amusing db. If a little old hat. I've heard similar quips about British politicians many times over.
