I have a Carryon coat that I've had for about 8 years. I think it probably needs re-waterproofing but I'm not sure if it's waxed or not. Any ideas please?

You need to find out what it is made of and how it has been treated previously. There are very good wash in proofers but you can’t use them over wax
What's written on the cleaning label? (Yes, I know that it's unlikely to mention re-proofing but there might be enough information there to point you/us in the right direction).

Thanks. I'll check out those suggestions.
I use this stuff, two step wash first then use the waterproofer. I do our coats every couple of years and never had any complaints.
