Hello Guys,

I'd just like to say thanks to all of those ABer's who helped in my campaign to raise money, and of course those who kindly donated, for Cancer Research UK.

I'd just like to let you know that my story will be going into my local newspapers! Hopefully this will encourage the public to donate and to encourage many other women to go for their mammograms and Smear tests as that's how the doc's found out early about my mums breast/cervial cancer.

If anyone esle would like to donate to Cancer Researcg UK please click on my link below:

My mum has had both Breast and Cervical cancer in October of last year. We have just found out that she has Cancer again, she will undergo 25 sessions of Radiotherapy which will hopefully shrink the tumour.

I am hoping that you can help me to publicise the fact that I am trying to raise as much money for Cancer Research UK. I will be taking part in the Great Women's run which takes place on 25th June 2006.

I am wondering if you can help advertise my sponsor and publicise my Link
Thank you for all your help and god bless!

i'm really sorry to hear about your mum Mowbray hope she gets better soon and she will be in my prayers. xx

Good luck with your sponsorship and run Mowbray.

In order to raise money for Cancer Research UK, i'm also doing a run. Race For Life (i'll put a post up to try and get more support from this forum).

I lost both my grandparents to cancer and my mum lost her closest friend a few years back.

It's a terrible thing, but with events such as the Great Womens run and Race for Life we can work together to raise money and do our best to help.

Hi Mowbray,

I am glad you are still at it, I am thinking of your mum often,my wife has just heard that a friend of hers at work has just been diagnosed (again) but it does not look good and one of my best mates sister in law last week,it is getting rampant everywhere, as I said before, give your mum a hug and kiss from me, the money I got from my post last week I am taking to "hope house" a kiddies hospice near me,take care, and good luck, Ray xx

Thinking of you and your Mum too Mowbray, we've just had a very close family friend diagnosed. We're gutted but keeping positive that she'll beat it, these thoughts go to your Mum too and your friends ray. Keep up the great work! x
