In my humble opinion, we are seeing the imploding of Mr Donald Trump here.

When he attacks his own Party, for not supporting him, we know the end is nigh !

Trump has now been effectively dropped by his party , the Republicans are no longer campaigning for him. He is to all intents and purposes an Independent. However this has not stopped his supporters who would support him even if he represented the monster raving looney/green chicken alliance party. ( he would be better suited to them anyway) The main concern...

anneasquith...you are quite right....people have a tendency to change the subject, when they realise that they nothing else to say on the original thread.

I think you mean OP not thread but what really can be said about the OP?

yes that's right, Trump lashes out at Republican chief Paul Ryan ... shock horror.

The main concern for the Republican party now is that not only will they not have a President but are on course to lose control of Congress as well!
Trump has been the worst thing that has ever happened to them and their only concern now is damage limitation.
Mickey, I dont think you get Western democracy.

It is not the Republican Party who will vote for him for President (They already did that) but the electorate and who knows how they will vote in the secrecy of the ballot box. Perhaps you should let your mates down the Labour know that too.

//Trump has been the worst thing that has ever happened to them//

He sure is, he has wrecked the cosy Establishment. And that has to be good.
What's with all this obsession lately with sticking exactly to the parameters of a question? I had thought that discussions allowed some degree of flexibility.
Jim, what's said isn't the issue but rather who says it. ;o)

100% agree, Jim.
You may be right there -- presumably the tactic against subject-changing from the "right" people is just to ignore it. I wish t would stop. A discussion isn't a discussion if there's no room for expanding on a point or drawing analogy.
Also this isn't a question it is an opinion piece.

Jim....you are right...you and anyone else can make whatever comments you like, even if its got nothing to do with the OP !
Mikey, my comment was relevant to the OP. Have you still not read what I said at 08:08?
o dear dear - stop pulling each others hair in the play ground

If mikey has said " I think trump and his lot are gonna implode"

then I think the comment " you said that last time Mikey about the Tories and it didnt happen" .... is a relevant comment. As there is an implication that the hoped-for event will not occur again. Does Mikey's past performance have any er relevance to future prediction ?

but that is just me

and squealing : " dat not relevant dat not" is a less relevant comment
ho hum - normal day on AB
