Idiots all! I detest practical jokes - especially those designed to frighten people. Nothing funny in that.
It's much more fun to go look in the windows of the old folks' home whilst wearing the hooded dressing gown and carrying the scythe.

OG, I find the fun goes out of it when the inhabitants start to point out that you're looking a lot older and sicklier than they are.

On the plus side, you can always use the scythe as a walking stick.

Not by any nature is this craze funny or harmless. They are going out to frighten and intimidate people armed with what looks like weapons (how can you tell if fake or not from a distance?). Sooner or later someone will get seriously hurt or worse....I hope it is soon stopped and those caught threatened with arrest. This is certainly a good guise for the criminal element to get away with anything they want to IMO as if caught in the act can always maintain it was harmless 'fun'.

they only do it to get hits on their youtube channel. oh well that's alright then - just like "happy slapping" is a bit of good natured fun.....

Indeed - but neither are his 'stunts' which consist of elaborate and frighteningly realistic enactments of murder and dismemberment, followed by chasing innocent witnesses.
I made it plain much earlier my views on this.
