I'm not asking for particular details of winners names etc, but has anyone won the Mail on Sunday or other crossword where you have submitted an entry by post?
You usually get the option of phoning, online or post and I am wondering if the postal ones get pushed to the back because you aren't paying the exorbitant phone entry charge.
I am talking about fairly recent entries, say in the last couple of years.

Thank you all, ....and well done!
I have sent in my MOS prize crossword entry by post from The Republic of Ireland on Mondays without fail for the past 10 years plus but never a winner. The post is my only option but I have no way of knowing if it arrives on time or gets pushed to one side as you suggest. Can only ever recall seeing one winner from the ROI during that period. Ever an optimist, I will persist as the prize of €2,000 is worth waiting for.
I always send my completed crossword by post [1st.class]. I had one runner-up prize this year on the M.o.S You Magazine, otherwise Zilch, Nothing!!
I've had two Crusader wins, sent by post, cheque followed.
Like you I think that the crosswords which has only postal entries the
best. The Sat I paper a few years ago was only post and I won twice
I recently sent an email and was told they choose which root entry so postal
entries not used each week, I have given up crosswords with phone in now
Good Luck
OMO55 if you posted on Monday your entry should arrive by Wednesday,
having said that I have posted postcards on a Monday which arrived in England and Northern Ireland on Wednesday BUT a letter to both places took to Thursday to arrive. Post from across the border (Newry) both arrive next day.
