Thanks folks, much appreciated. Can't find it in my Scottish atlas and all my internet searches didn't get me anywhere. I must have done something wrong. Thanks again.
you're welcome

I thought the poem was by Helen Cruickshank, or did the clue say Scots?

I can now find lots on the internet when I have Noran Water, lyrics of songs, but nothing connecting to Sir Walter Scott. Guess that's why I didn't get anywhere.
