Happily, we're booked up for two weeks in Tenerife in July.

The tour operator is Airtours

Does anyone know what planes they use.

For example, is it a wide bodied DC10 or the narrower (6 seats wide) plane - as used to Majorca etc?

airtours generally use boing 757s or 737s or the smaller airbus 300,not many dc 10s in service these days

they should be able to tell you. If you've got your flight number see your travel agent and they can ask what type of plane it'll be. More than likely it'll be the narrower one you mentioned though. Been to the Canaries a few times with Airtours and there was usually only

3 seats - an aisle - 3 seats

Being a charter flight though it could change. One time when we went our plane had just flown into the UK from Orlando so it was a wider one than you'd usually expect for a short haul flight to the Canaries
