Dead Green Finch

I have just found a dead green finch laying under the bird feeders, I had been watching it feed a short while ago, it looks as if it just fell dead suddenly, it looked fit and healthy and was quite plump, I put under a bush in case it came round but I don't think so, what could have happened to it?

Is it possible, it could have flown into a window pane ?

thanks for your answers, no to the falling apples and the window pane so it must have been ill, although it looked sleek and fit but I can only think it was the trichomonosis, sad.
