After the 9pm watershed we are allowed to hear the housemates swearing, including the f-word. When BB puts up sub-titles because the talking is indistinct he uses " f**** ".

Why? What is this all about? If we can hear the word spoken why can't we see it written down? And as we all know what the word is anyway what is the point of censoring it?

The series is repeated post-watershed, early the following morning, and it's easier to blank out the bad language for the second screening than it is to re-do the subtitles.
