Just found out if you have a car crash in Jersey and the fire brigade and ambulances come out they charge you £20,000 per vehicle.
Just imagine a really serious crash with multiple vehicles how the costs could mount up.
It doesn't bear thinking about. I know the insurance will cover it, but what price the increase in next years premium.

According to douglas9401's link the maximum charge would be under 300 pounds (or even assuming multiple fees certainly not that much more), so I don't know where the idea of 20,000 came from
