I have diverticular disease, but have been attack-free for some time now, since I discovered that one trigger appeared to be having drinks containing organic milk. Things have started to hot up again now, but I can't identify what might be causing it. Can anyone suggest what particular ingredient - or lack of it - might be making this worse?

I've got Ulcerative Colitis and any number of things can trigger a flare up. Red meat, tea and spicy foods affect me but maybe OK for someone else. It's trial and error. I find keeping a food diary helps. Writing down everything you eat and drink helps identify what might trigger your flare ups. Hope this helps.
I know it's not the same but my Crohn's has no rhyme nor reason to it as to what makes it flare up, I can and do eat anything which is what the IBD nurse told me to do. It's only during a flare I change what I eat.
A food diary sounds like a good starting point. Have you spoken to a dietician?

Thanks, both. No, i haven't spoken to a dietitian, I thought I'd got it sorted. What I was really wondering was, is there an ingredient in organic milk that might be present in other foods/drinks - maybe something to do with dairy products - that might have caused it to flare up again.
I doubt it, the things that organic foods don't have in them are the sorts of things which, I would assume, could be bad for you. So I can't imagine it's the organic milk which has set it off.
Maybe you've become lactose intolerant, might be worth trying to find out?
