You're stuck on a large desert island all by yourself. The only link with the outside world is a small aircraft which arrives on the island every week to deliver your weekly supplies. You can order your supplies on a weekly basis with no spending limit, but you are limited to only shopping from 5 stores. Which stores would you choose?

I would order from:-

1. Millets (for all my camping needs)
2. Amazon.com (for books & music supplies)
3. Goodness Direct (for organic foods)
4. Robert Dyas (for all my basic culinary & DIY needs)
5. Harrods (for the extravagance!!)

I can't believe I left Boots and Ann Summers off my list! Is it too late to change my mind?

Tesco - EVERYTHING in the world comes from Tesco these days

Amazon - for any books, cd's and dvd's that Tesco might not have.

Can I have dates delivered to me from online agencies?

Question Author
I dont see why not, Nick.

I can imagine your dating profile would be pretty interesting though.

Single, good looking male seeks beautiful young female who likes to rough it for dinner date and possibly more. Must enjoy the great outdoors, burnt marshmallows, snakes and exotic spiders, and making love in front of an open fire, or a nearby damp cave if its raining. Bring your own mosquito repellent.
1. Tesco
2. John Lewis (What you can't buy at Tesco you can buy at John Lewis!)
3. Boots
4. Amazon
5. Liverpool FC Store (need to get my programmes and keep up with the results!)
but we have electricity right? And a phone? and an aeroplane, and it is a large island, i would order in a build yourself a Tesco kit and then every week more stock would arrive and the checkout would be free.

No power or phones, Dot. You're really getting into this, aren't you? :o)
