Cannot get my Lexmark z640 to print

I have installed my Lexmark printer on my old laptop and it works fine. I have just installed the driver for this printer in my new laptop and set it as the default printer, but cannot get it to print. I've checked all connections (and made sure printer switched on!), am using the correct USB port, have restarted my laptop. When I try to print, I get the little icon showing a printer with a sheet of paper coming out of it and when I check in Settings, it shows that 3 documents have been sent to this printer. Can anyone help, please?

Uninstall the driver and change another version of driver to install. Instead of searching the compatible driver online, you could use OSToto Driver Talent to reinstall Lexmark printer driver.
