Couple of things are driving me nuts using sites with Adpbe Player. On one site when playing Vids when it comes toward the last quarter of Video a notice pops up in middle of screen saying "Play again" Well errm no... I dont want to actually play again, just want to watch the damn video without some pain in the ass notice on screen ruining it!
On another site after starting Video suddenly after few seconds on the right side of screen some Video thumbnails pop up - "Related Videos" - blocking a third of the screen.
Worst of it is, there seems no way to stop this in Settings!

Christ the people who design these things must be utter morons, do they really think we want to have screens partly blocked with annoying crap like that when trying to watch a clip?
Anyone have some other solution to solve these irritants?

Sites that simply won't stop but insist on playing the next in their list, whether you like it or not, are a pain in the rump too.
may I suggest deleting it completely and then going back to adobe for the very latest version - I`ve never seen the things you describe or needed to change any settings

>may I suggest deleting it completely

Mmh doubt that will work, think these players are embedded in those particular sites although not 100% sure about that
Any site in particular?

If you uninstall adobe flash player, sites that need it won't play and will prompt you to install it.

Damn thing gets more confusing by the minute.
I now notice the bit where the "Related Videos" crap pops up, it only happens when using Google, in Firefox there is no problem So one is stumped= is it the player causing it, browser setting or what....bloody pain in the ass!
This solution has resolved many issues in the past - also some earlier versions of flash are insecure.
