I have a nice shirt which has a considerable gap between the bottom button and the bottom of the shirt. This button undoes itself from time to time which, when walking, exposes my belly cos the wind blows the shirt open!
Now I'm not fat and the shirt isn't bulging and tight and I don't want to throw the shirt away but what can I do with this button to stop undoing itself?

A few stitches in the buttonhole to make it smaller should do it Homedeeth .....just make the buttonhole small enough that you have to force the button in and it'll stay there.....and make sure the button is secure!...x
Put a few stitches in the button hole to make it fit more tightly.
Snap gness.
You could put a velcro spot on the fabric quite close to the button. Or put a bigger button on. Or sew the button on with elastic thread.
Fit a paperclip over it after it's been buttoned.
Snap!
