Jack....immigration has been rising steeply since the Tories were voted into power in 2010....nothing had changed when it came to May 2015.
Mikey, //millions of people voted for Dave ! //

Don't be ridiculous. With uncontrolled immigration from the EU the figures would have been the same regardless of government.
Major, Hague and Howard all resigned of their own free will. Not so Heath and IDS.
Jack....My memory of all those previous Tory Leaders is that they fell on their swords, just before that could be stabbed by them.

The same fate will befall Dave, in a few weeks/months, whatever the result on Thursday.
The 2012 figure is what Cameron claimed. The 2016 figure is:-)

//I'm loving all the naive 'but we can vote for someone else' comments. //

I don't think everyone understands parliamentary democracy and difficult concepts like the sovereignty of the people.
Give a dog a bad name.

I'm inclined to believe the advisor, but I accept I can not know.

I think Dave has more to lose and greater power to have things look like it wasn't discussed.

When we leave we will still have national government to have to deal with but it will be a government accountable to the electorate. It is preposterous to say one should stay with the undemocratic unaccountable morass known as the EU simply because there is always going to be a need to control one's government. There's a recipe for never doing anything.
Those of us who read law do. Dicey should be compulsory reading for the Remainers.
Didn't believe him pre-election - have had my beliefs confirmed. A lying, twisting, slithering bully of the worst sort.
