My grandaughter sent me some hol photos which had a prefix IMG...JPG and for opening in 'google drive' whatever that is?

I open all my photos in MS Photo Mgr or similar and I save them to files in 'my docs'

Problem is i can open them one at a time very slowly but they appear very small in centre of laptop screen - also I can find no way to save them to 'my docs' at all!

Can anyone help please as usually when I receive an email with photo attach. they open easily?

Thanks

Google drive is like another hard disk but is internet based. Not sure by your question if she has sent you the pictures or just a link to her google drive. I suspect the latter - so you are only seeing thumbnails. The fact that they start IMG is irrelevant - that is just the name her camera has given them. The JPG tells mecthat they are in jpg format. Will look for info...

Will look for info on downloading from shared google drive.
Found this

There is OPEN IN DRIVE option in upper right corner, (if you are logged in with your google account). It will put a folder of the same name on your google drive. Then you can right click on the folder and select Download option (zip file will be made and downloaded) :)
