The Mirror are quick to put him on the same level as Nigel Farage, but Nigel made Izzard look the fool that most sane people would agree that he is.

He kept repeating the fact that Nigel should be supporting immigration, since he was married to a German wife, and also because his foreign ancestry, so much so that Nigel told him to shut up because he was now making himself sound silly, an understatement if ever there was one.

i haven't watched question time for years but in the period when I did, the BBC quite often fielded a "left-field" panellist. whilst this did sometimes make the lone panellist make themselves look a complete fool, on occasions their current affairs insight was a revelation.

this is something that could have been very watchable but it proved not to be. that's life.

Already noticed and the appropriate apologies made.
a clown to join a panel of other clowns ?
It's time for Dimbleby to control the panel members.
Izzard made a complete fool of himself in both his appearance and the things he said, he needed to let others have their say and not keep shouting over them, idiot!
///It's time for Dimbleby to control the panel members.///

He was too busy advocating for Remain.
I agree witht saint, Dimbleby just doesn't exert enough control. Can't stand Izzard.
Sorry, I agree with Coppit.
dimbers is a terrible chair, can't help but pursue his own views. Robin day et al were capable of being impartial regardless of their private views, a talent that is sadly lacking on TV these days.
Izzard did the Remain camp no good at all by being so manic. I did wonder whether he was on something.
## I did wonder whether he was on something. ##

So did I Gromit, maybe a tot to much in the green room.

On another point. I wonder what other people, who may have seen it in Europe would have thought of his dress sense?
