And now BHS. All major high street retailers who have folded in less than a decade. I can't recall any other time (in my lifetime) when so many big brands have gone under.

Who else do you think is in trouble?

I can't see HMV lasting much longer.

I'm actually on my way to Debenhams as I write this (I managed to destroy a roasting pan last week).

I'd be surprised to see Debenhams go, but not surprised at W.H.Smith, a shop that never fails to put me in a bad mood, no matter how short my visit is.
I'm surprised at some of these furniture companies that manages to keep going .

Probably because some of them have a 'sale' all year round

GB PLC will be safe after we vote to stay in the EU
C&A hasn't "folded"...it's going strongly in most of Europe. It simply withdrew from the UK market.
Pedantic point:
C & A didn't fold. The company simply withdrew from the UK market. They've still got stores across most of Europe (including Russia), as well as in Brazil. Mexico and China.

Firms looking dodgy at the moment? My list would include:
HMV
Mothercare
W H Smith
Debenhams
Carpetright
Little Chef
Clarks Shoes
Not sure why WH Smith is on lists. They seem in good health

Revenue £1,178 million
Operating income £124 million
Profit £101 million

With more train and air travel than ever before, I would guess they are safe.
Cant see Smiths going either, there tends to be a steady stream fir items that have a rwasonable markup.

My guess is we will see some suoermarkets fold or withdraw from tge uk market. Margind are very thin in tgat sector only takes a couple if errirs and you are shafted.
MFI changed into a company that is extremely successful, Howdens Joinery Ltd. Product and company ethos was transformed in the 90s and all the old retail sheds were vacated for style, quality and delivery focused trade outlets.
I`m surprised the Wallis brand is still going
