Not been good up here in N Wales Ratter. Wet and windy. The wind is the gardener's bane, it beggers everything up. We were hoping to push on with the begonia and dahlia planting and potting. Instead "She who must be obeyed" has had a frenzy of window and door cleaning (inside). The poor dog and I are getting stir crazy waiting for it to clear up a bit. Ahh well tomorrow promises to be better.
It's rubbish
Hmmm, rubbish here as well. Looks like it's going to pee down any minute.

I thought we were supposed to have a heatwave?
I quite like the weather wet and windy. When it gets warmer I have to sort out a whole new wardrobe and pay attention to the colour of my legs etc. I'm happy for it to stay like this.

I dont get much damage by the wind here, we are fairly well protected it seems by high hedges the hills and trees.

I just need to make sure nothing is going to get blown into the greenhouse after replacing half of the glass in the last few weeks.

We do have a lot of standing water in the dips in the lawn, that will be a job for the drier weather though.
Hold on, the sun is out and it is warming up. I feel like that kid in the song Hullo Mudda Hullo Fadda.
mostly overcast but sun breaking through occasionally, bit windy on Essex coast.
It was sunny/cloudy and very cold here until about 10 mins. ago - now a solid downpour with driving rain and I've to get to the shops! Worse just now, thunderously loud battering on the conservatory! :o(
