My partner and I are over 50 - and need travel insurance for Australia. He had cancer over 5 years ago - is now completely clear, but has regular 6 monthly check ups. Can anyone recommend good travel insurance company. I am planning to tria Rias and Age concern tomorrow. Saga have quoted 104 for an annual worldwide policy which makes sense because a one way trip is just as expensive - any one know more about this than me? Thanks.

I have always found www.direct-travel.co.uk (AXA) very good, and they pay out quickly too if necessary!
yes they are brilliant. I was in hospital last year in Tenerife and they paid nearly 1000 out before we came home.
I use www.medicover.co.uk you can get an online quote. Thankfully, I`ve never had to claim. They cover all pre-existing medical conditions. Good luck.
