My daughter is travelling from Liverpool to Carlisle by road.She has a lift as far as Lancaster.We will pick her up there so wondering if anyone knew of a convenient place just off M6?

There is a service station at Lancaster. Or University entrance area? Nice far, shop near Galgate i recall, though it was a long time ago

watch out for the major scheme works at J34 - you might just need to check with highways england that you can actually get on/off at that junction on the day of travel.
