I believe that up to 4 Sky + boxes can be connected to one dish. Does that mean, in theory, you can record 8 programmes at the same time? Many thanks.

Don't know about that ,but good luck on finding 8programmes that are worth recording
I do not see why not, we have 2 boxes on Sky+ multiroom, and can record 4.
Yes, as long as they are all Sky+ boxes. You can only play back the recording on the device it's recorded on.

With all the repeats, plus 1s and box sets why would you need all that recording
