Hello i was wondering if someone could help me. I recently moved into a new home and now there appears ro be a gap somewhere where the felt meets the tiles on the roof or worse still a hole in the felt and it appears that there may be a birds nest somewhere in this gap, is the builder liable to get the problem fixed? Surely the area should be tight enough to not allow this to happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It won't help to tell you that the birds love to nest between our tiles and the felt. I have sparrows at the front and starlings along the back!

However the cause no damage and have not made a hole in the felt, they just squeeze in under the first tile. I shouldn't worry too much, they are no problem really.
If you're not happy with the situation, have a word with the builder.
