Shooting Cat's

My next door neighbour has threatened to shoot my cat's if they go in to his garden and do their business ! .he says they are trespassing ! I am now afraid to let my cats out as I know has a gun which he shoots squirrels with it . What should I do?

Its your pet to stroke & love, keep it indoors with a litter tray that you can move outdoors if/when trained. My cats are too valuable to let out & I dont like them disturbing birds.

In my opinion it is cruel to keep a healthy cat indoors. The natural instinct is to roam and hunt, climb and explore.

If a cat attaçked kestrels nesting or the red kite that landed yday, woodpeckers on my fruit trees, owls nesting in roof & 2 exotic geese flown in recently, I would strangle the cat.

it is very annoying when cats come in the garden I wouldn't have fell and needed an operation and a year to get right if I wasn't trying to shoo yet another cat out before it pooped in my pots he most likely is just venting his anger .

Thanks for your input. Mrs Dp and I are going down to the police station this morning to report the incident. Ps my cats never do poo in his garden they have plenty of soil in our own garden and a 20 acre green field behind us to do whatever they want to do. The man is just a a--hole
