Hello

I am just wondering if anyone has experience of selling their house without using an estate agent.

01) Is it difficult
02) Would you do it again
03) Do you have any tips for someone doing it for the 1st time

Thank you in anticipation

Never done it, so didn't respond earlier.

However in absence of others replies, I would consider looking at Purple Bricks next time around, as a means to accessing web coverage on house sales. Do not underestimate the amount of work in producing professional looking sales pack, together with floor plans. Estate agents and online only people like Purple Bricks do all this.

You've got to work out how you are going to reach out to prospective buyers. Web is important, High Street presence less so these days (IMHO). If you live in a popular area where houses are always on sale, perspectives will `find` you, purely by erecting your own sales sign. If you don't how on earth do you expect to get buyers to front door without web coverage.
