Hi. We have a tropical fish tank and keep getting these little snails that cling to the side in the tank. We have tried cleaning everything out and boiling everything to try and get rid of them but after a couple of days they keep coming back. Any ideas how to get rid of them for good? Many thanks.

They usually come on the plants, so check your plants - they may even be in the gravel.

We had some but just removed them as we saw them - even when they were minute!

You can get an assain snail - supposedly it eats them
We always get them. Unless they get too numerous why not leave them alone.
Don't they help to keep the tank clean by eating the algae ?
had this problem.. we found the easiest way to get rid of them is to put a couple of clown loaches in the tank.. they'll eat all the snails..and they look pretty too.. and they don't harm the other fish

Ok. Thanks everyone for your help. It wouldnt be a problem if there wasnt so many. They just seem to multiply.
