I really don't care what the Bible says and I don't believe most of what the Bible says. Written by man to control people, which is exactly what Jehovah's Witnesses does.... control people!!!!

Naomi@ That shows what type of person you are, you pick out the bits and disregard the rest. Plus you don't really know or understand the Bible. If you did, you would know what happened to David. God is not cruel, if he were no one would be alive today, but he has given time and no one, not even you, can say you did not know.

Goodlife, I rather think it shows the type of person you are. One who will willingly overlook the most horrendous crimes against humanity solely to achieve his own ambition. What type of person would you say you are?

I'm reading her book 'The First Christian St Paul's impact on Christianity' which accompanied her Channel 4 programmes and is extremely well researched and critical where need be, I've read others of her books too, so I'd like to know where she has given a 'rose coloured spectacle' view of religion, and what exactly does it mean, - is it anything that doesn't correspond with your bleak outlook?
